About Me

My name is Dana Jalovick

I seek to provide a way for others to connect and align their minds, hearts, and bodies through movement, breath, and stillness in a way that allows them to be more present with themselves, others, and God.

About Live.Move.Breathe.Yoga

Live.Move.Breathe.Yoga is a ministry dedicated to providing yoga therapy through Christ-centered practices.

Dana discovered yoga in 2012 while undergoing physical therapy for Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis focused on postural restoration, which helped alleviate her pain. After experiencing its numerous benefits, she began using yoga therapeutically to address the impacts of complex childhood trauma.

She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2019 and 800-hour yoga therapy certification in 2022 through YogaFaith.org, with additional certifications in trauma-sensitive yoga and yoga for scoliosis. Dana is registered with the Christian Yoga Association and certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

Based on the border of Juniata and Snyder counties in Pennsylvania, Dana offers both online and in-home/studio private and group classes. Her focus is on trauma intervention and recovery, as well as yoga for scoliosis, collaborating with psychotherapists, physical therapists, doctors, and chiropractors to create tailored treatment plans for clients with specific conditions or injuries.

Beyond the physical benefits, Dana values the mind-body-soul connection that yoga nurtures, using postures and breathing to enhance meditation and worship. She enjoys finding ways to blend her faith and worship through movement, breath, and stillness.

Acts 17:28, “In Him, we live, and move, and have our being.”
